Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is sequel to 2011's Rise of the Planet of the Apes. It's easily earn its place as the top-grossing movie at cinemas at its first weekend. The sequel takes place a decade after a killer virus devastated the human race. Apes who have survived the disease go head-to-head with a group of human survivors and a traitor who is hell bent on destroying humans and apes, triggering the unbalanced war for peace.
