Sequel to 'Shounen Hollywood: Holly Stage for 49' to Air Winter 2015

The final episode of 'Shounen Hollywood: Holly Stage for 49' has ended on Saturday with an announcement that it'll get its second season. Official Twitter account of Shohari also announced the TV anime's second season titled Shounen Hollywood: Holly Stage for 50 is already in the works for January 2015.

The TV anime is based on boys idol novel titled Shounen Hollywood by Ikuyo Hashiguchi. The novel was originally posted on a web-novel site called Everystar and later book version titled Shounen Hollywood: Red, Green, Pink was published in July 2012 by Shogakukan Bunko. Shohari animated and produced by anime studio ZEXCS (Diabolik Lovers, Cuticle Detective Inaba) with the music label Starchild Records.

The TV anime tells an original story, set 15 years after the novel's story. Centers on a new five-member group Shonen Hollywood, it takes place at a fictional theater called Hollywood Tokyo in Harajuku. In Hollywood Tokyo, the "Shounen Hollywood" members develop their talents with diligent work and studying. The cast includes several original members of Shounen Hollywood from the novel.
