Quicksilver Taste Some Porridge
I think we all agree that the best coolest scene from X-Men: Days of Future Past is the Quicksilver "frozen time" scene where the character is moving so quickly that everything around him seems to move in super slow-motion.

Let's check the video below:

In that video, director Bryan Singer explains how they achieved the effect. The tech crew film the scene with special cameras known as Phantoms, which shoot up to 3600 frames per second (wow, it's super slo-mo, dude). The editors sped up the frame rate on everything but Evan Peters, who portrays Quicksilver in the film, then shot the actor at regular speed - effectively creating the feeling that Peters was moving much, much faster than the world around him.

Well, unfortunately this video doesn't go into quite as much detail as it could. But, hopefully we'll get to see full detaild of behind-the-scenes once the DVD and Blu-ray come out on October 14th.

Some say he’s half man half fish, others say he’s more of a seventy/thirty split. Either way he’s a fishy bastard.
