Jason Momoa to Play Aquaman in DC Cinematic Universe

After long months of rumors, speculations, and rumor denials by Jason Momoa himself, Warner Bros.’ Chairman and CEO Kevin Tsujihara has confirmed that Game Of Thrones' star, Jason Momoa, will be Aquaman the King of Atlantis in Aquaman Solo Movie. The Movie has been confirmed to hit theaters in 2018.

Reportedly the live-action movie will feature many characters such as: Mera, Orm/Ocean Master, Black Manta and The Trench. All characters appeared in "Throne of Atlantis" storyline. The Throne of Atlantis story arc is being adapted into an animated film titled Justice League: Throne of Atlantis and set to be released in 2015.
