Robot Anime 'Doamiger D' to Air in Spring 2015

Not long ago, it was announced that a robot anime titled Doamiger D will be aired in Spring 2015. Its catch phrase is "Kyoto x Japanese sweet x Robot anime." The main character, Daijirou Kyougoku, will be voiced be stage actor Ryouta Murai. Ryouta also portrayed Sakamichi Onoda in the musical version of Yowamushi Pedal, Yowamushi Pedal Interhigh-hen The Second Order.

Doamiger D Synopsis:
The year is 2015 in Kyoto. Daijirou Kyougoku is the 15th generation owner of a dessert shop. One day, he discovers a giant robot named Doamiger D underneath his store. At the same time, evil monsters called "mekaijuu" suddenly start raging the streets of Kyoto! What is Doamiger D?! What is happening to Old Town Kyoto?!
