Today, it was announced on the official website of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump that Masashi Kishimoto's long-running series 'Naruto' will end in five weeks. The final chapter will be in 50th issue of Shonen Jump on November 10 this year.

In June 2012, Kishimoto stated that the series was rising towards its climax and in its final phase of the storyline. He also already had the ending in mind. Later the same year he said that he had a year and a half more to go with the story.

Masashi Kishimoto's Naruto has been serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine since 1999. The Japanese compiled book is published by Shueisha, while English version is published by Viz Media in North America.
